Locked was brought in to create this social video using a series of motion graphics and text based animations combined with beautifully shot footage to bring out Budvars key messaging in a unique way. Working closely with Just Upstairs, we developed the storyboard, selected the key edit content and consulted on how the messaging could be streamlined to work most effectively for social.
It was really important for these videos that the messaging (on screen text) work effectively for web and for social platforms - we animated the text so that it could be adapted to fit within the screen on both 16x9 and 9x16 aspect ratios without the frame looking too cluttered. The on screen text needed to compliment the lovely shots in the frame whilst still being nice and easy to read.
To make sure the animated text was easy for viewers to digest, we worked with the production team and the agency to simplify the messaging so that it could be shorter but still effective. This was also essential as we were creating the same videos for several other markets in different languages and the translations often had varying word counts compared to the original script in English.
